I agree with you. The current state won't last forever. There is some demand for a non-Proprietary API for ML instead of CUDA. Companies will compete for these AI/ML dollars and the playing field will get leveled. No doubt, NVidia has a big head start. But it won't last forever. Just look at Intel. Once dominant for CPUs, but now humbled.
